I have looked and found some have used pro torque. Can anyone speak as to good or bad? I have also found Oregon Performance Transmission, not many who have used them though. If there are any others please let me know.

I used Ford Certified Remanufactured transmission (4R55E) and torque converter with acceptable results. Warranty 36,000 miles or 36 months. Better than O'Reilly Auto Parts by a damsite. imp

well it appears protorque is about $600 for a new converter which is pretty nuts.

There is a big price difference between new and rebuilt.
