Whats up guys ? Just to give you a little backround, we are a family owned and operated 3rd generation small used car dealership. We are hanging in there and trying to turn things around within our business. We deal with a lot of American cars and try to fix them ourselves if we can, although we are not mechanics really and our place isn't really set up for that. So, with that said, I sometimes turn to the net to try to get tips on what would seem like an easy fix, (no such thing lol). I found the forum while I was searching on how to fix a power window on a 2000 Ford Explorer XLT. We originally thought it was the windown regulator, but after painstakingly installing the new one, it still doesn't work. Using a test light, while DEPRESSING the driver side controls for the pass window switch, we have juice, but not when pressing the button up? Does that matter ? Should the test light eluminate by pressing the switch both ways ? If that doesn't matter, what else can it be? The pass side switch doesn't have juice tho, does that matter ? Hope you guys can help.
