Hello All,
I recently purchased a 2007 Explorer Limited. Already I've found very useful information on this forum even before joining, Google sent me to a number of posts. I hope to be a contributing member and look forward to making new friendships here.

My first concerns (aside from being in debt the first time in a decade) are:

• Rain/Car wash water getting into the #8 & #7 spark plug wells
• Hard shifting from 1st gear
• The publicized unexpected (and expensive) failure of the brake master cylinder.

My unit has 112,000 miles and I've put about 500 of them on it.

Thanks to the standing members who've posted so much valuable information. I really appreciate this place and I've only just walked in the door.
