Hi, I’m looking at swapping the 4r70w transmission in my 96 explorer 2wd with one from a 2002 mustang v6. I know it will bolt up and I will need to repin the harness on the truck, but will the speed sensor work? Or will I need some kind of signal converter?

Welcome to this forum! I remember seeing an advertisement years ago about some place selling stand alone transmission controllers just for transmission swapping.

USShift makes stand alone transmission controllers
But he does not need that since he is going from 4r70w to 4r70w
