Hey there everyone. I'm Kermit. 30 year old from metro Detroit Michigan.
Glad to be a part of the community. I've been a DIY type of owner for the 15 years I've been driving.. After my 2003 Ford Ranger was totaled (while saving my life), a friend sold me his 2001 Explorer Sport XLT for $750. I put 70,000 miles on it in 2 years, having only to replace the brake pads and a couple of broken windows. It now has 192k on it, and is leaking coolant from somewhere in the top of the engine region.. I don't have the energy or time to fix it, when it has served its purpose lol.
So I bought a 2004 Explorer Sport Trac XLT with plenty of life left. I mainly wanted to join this forum for help with fixes along the way, as I'd love to drive this truck for a longggg time. I actually love it more than my Ranger (RIP) and that's saying a lot.
