So theres the order you plug the wires and there is the firing order....it was less complicated in my other cars.it was not rotors but coil likethat and also rotated clockwise in firing order for exemple 1-3-4-2 in firing order but that was not the coil that made random fire in different location so thats why you had to change only the location of the wires. In the other system you had to plug the 1 in 1, the 3 in the 2, the 4 in the 3, and the 2 in the four.Clowwise and interchange plugs.
in Ford system if you look at it
the ford service manual says:1-4-2-5-3-6
3-4
2-6
1-5
Plugged in this order clockwise in the other system the explorer would have fire 1-2-3-4-6-5 and not 1-4-2-5-3-6 that is why i was ####ed up in this way of plugging the wires because ford do random fire and interchange locations.
Thank you guys i understand better now and the truck is running good.
