Just Today My Overdrive Light On My Dash Started Blinking.... It Has Never Done This Before, After I Shut Off The Truck And Start It Back Up, Its Still Blinking. And I Never Use The Overdrive Button To Engage/disengage It Ever. I Have No Idea Why Its Doing This And I Need Some Help Here Please !! Is There Something I Can Do ????

yeah man welcome to the club. The first time the od light started blinking in my ex was at 70,000 and guess what I did nothing except pull over, stop and start my car and now my ex has 140,000 and I will ride my transmission till it falls out the bottom and I see it in my rear view mirror!!
ps when you stop at a redlight stop and start, clears the blinking works great for me!!!

Why did you implicate the EPC right away? Could be another shift solenoid.
The 95-96 have a 20-30K service interval depending on severe service or not. 25K is just about perfect. If you go past 35-40 maybe nothing will happen but ford may deny a warranty claim if something does screw up. (hint here..)
Uhh..the overdrive light blinking can be MANY issues that have nothing to do with overdrive. Does check engine mean you have a blown engine? It means you have to get your trans scanned for codes. The FIRST thing you do is check fluid when you see that light.
Things neglected fluid can do:
- contaminated/restricted filter= low line pressure, lots of issues
- old ratty/burnt fluid = fluid does not perform clutch /fricton functions, heat buildup, toast trans, could clog EPC and other solenids.
- low fluid level = difficulty in engagement, other issues
Any of these fluid issues over many miles will destroy your trans. Do not flush at this point. Only service fluid and filter.
