Help i need roll pan info!!!.....please

i have a 99 2wd sport...i know these questions come up quite a bit, so i apologize if this is a repeat... i know form this gorgeous website that there is no after market roll pans available for my generation x. I have seen however there are a few pics floating around of X's with shaved gates and pans, the shaving is no problem but what are these X owners using for pans, or material. I could probably build one out of steel in about 10 pieces then smooth out with a planishing hammer, but im thinking glass would be easier. Is therea pan for another vehicle that is a close fit? any info would be greatly appreciated.

She has a rear bumper that has been shortened to fit flush. Looks pretty cool.

A roll pan for your X does exist.

CanDo Customs makes them.

I have a CanDo rollpan on my Explorer...fit is pretty good.




You will have to call them and order the Rollpan for a 98-01, as the curvature is slightly different than the 91-97 that is listed on their site. But they DO have them available. I know of 2 or 3 guys that have them.
