So, Going on 4 months now my life has been on hiatus Trying to get this fixed so I can make it back home. Is on the interstate one day coasting Down a hill when suddenly rpms shut all the way down And had no acceleration Was able to put put put put auto parts store barely, Scour the internet for whatever info I could find after using scanner Had a laundry list of codes fpde ( First thing replaced) sensor MAF sensor p0171 and p0174 and 02sensor codes bank 1 and 2 Indicates Lean as well as one about a heater circuit something about a fuel or air recirculation (cant remember)'
Ended up having to Unplug the master flow sento get home which worked just very shotty and tedious Having to feather the gas pedal back-and-forth every time. I hit the Hill and then it would hesitate and take off catch the R. P m's just right and it would coast again for a while till I hit another hilll.
Fast forward replaced MAF with oem one Thought it was fixed for about ten minutes Then I drop power again and stalled had to Unplug again And I thought it was a little weird when I scanned it with the mass air flow unplugged I gotta p0113 code for tps that said secondary and I haven't since seen if Finally replaced my Upstream sensor on bank one and boom the truck felt good as ever cleared codes and was good after drive cycle All I have left were the p0174 and p0171 Was driving greand then suddenlost the power again same deal put put put However, I noticed, and I'm pretty sure it's been doing this. The whole time coupled with the other issues that my lights dim. Simultaneously in my voltage meter fluctuates all crazy.
Pretty much just until it doesn't
next day Start up fine in the morning I drove all day no issues like it just disappeared till like 8 hours later it did it again However it just started raining about ten minutes prior
I am thinking a bad ground maybe? Its like i lose power as my voltage is being lost to all electronics too then it stalls.
Desperate to figure this out. Does anyone have any idea what could cause that now? Sincere two centers been replaced It drives almost perfectly except thelete but Prior to that whenever this would happen it would also start miss firing as I would lose power, I am starting to think the rain may have shorted something? It was fine all day until the rain started
