I am looking at Michelin tires for original replacement in size 235/70-16 for my '04 V6 4WD XLT. I will drive almost entirely on pavement but occasionally I will hit the dirt country road. Which tire in the Michelin line would be best for me? I'm also curious about a sway bar kit and shocks/struts. Any suggestions there? I'm considering Rancho RSX or KYB GR-2's. As far as sway bar kit, Eibach makes one and I've read good things about them. Any and all comments welcome and thanks. Love my jet black '04.

I just put on the latitude tours 2 weeks ago, and I love them. Virtually zero road noise and a nice feel. I'm in suburbia and won't be hitting any dirt roads any time soon but the treads are nice and deep. They're a bit pricey, I paid 196 per; but what I did was called Michelin and asked if they any rebate promotions going on. The guy said no, and I said if they were, I'd buy the tires today. He ended up sending me a "friends and family promotion" voucher for a 60 dollar rebate. Give that a shot no matter which style you choose; and i did'nt buy them directly from michelin, I got them from Buy Wheels today, ask for felix.

just mounted LTX A/T2 a week ago. Had a set on my heep for over 8 years and 70k mi on them and i only replaced them because two leaked due to bad rims.
Because of that i went with them again. So far smooth soft ride, fine on the highway, traction seems great. Although my true test comes in 7 months in the snow. The old set was phenomenal in the snow and dirt i havent got there yet.
Only negative other than the price of $200 each is with the windows down and the radio off, in a quiet area i can hear them every so slightly . . .imo i'd buy them again.

Shoot, if you are looking at spending $200 a tire, I will sell you my BRAND NEW Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos that I had mounted last week(0 miles on them). I originally had Firestone Destination A/T's that had less than 10k on them and each had sidewall cracks. So Firestone gave me these. I have new wheels and tires on the Ex now so the stockers are not needed anymore. PM for pics and price if you are interested. They are 245/70/16's mounted on 02' Limited wheels.
