help me decide

Which should i get:

1. 2-Audiobahn Aw1200x
2. 3-Jl Audio 12w6
3. 2-Rockford Fosgate RFR3112

I'm also looking for the perfect speakers for my car. What size do i need the 5 1/4 or 6?

I'd say go with the 3 JL subs if you have the room, & amp power. From experience, stay away from Rockford Fosgate subs. Never heard the Audiobahn subs though.

It all depends on what you are looking for from your subs. If you want sound quality go with the JL's. For SPL go with the RF. The audiobahns will put you some where in the middle of SQ/SPL. The JL's will get loud too though. To power the RF's you'd need tons of power. Like around 1500-2000 watts RMS. You could make the 3 JL's sound with much less power.

If you can fit 'em, go with the JL's.

out of the three choices you listed, i think the 3 JL12W6's would be the best bet. they have some nice SQ. and having three would help out with the SPL

but the choice is totally up to you, it depends on what sounds good to you.

the 2001 RF's are very dissapointing.

I would go with the audiobahns. The JL's are nice for SPL, but have never been known for sound quality. A buddy of mine has two 12" JLs and they will hit hard, I mean hard, but they sound nasty. My Boston's sound much better than his, but his will hit harder. Every audiobahn I have ever heard has been able to hit relatively hard and they sound great. Everybody has rockfords and they don't particularly sound good at all, and the new models flat out suck. Hope this helps.

The JLW6 has great sound quality and good SPL too. The JL's you heard must have been the W0's or the W1's. The W3's are for SPL.

Thanks for all the help everyone. I had preferred the JLs all along but i couldnt really make up my mind. And considering the sound quality, i heard taht the jls sound pretty good.
