I had to get a (female) friends 2x4 X out of a drive way the other day. It's dirt, but that day it was mud, and it's really steep. I didn't have my X to pull it out with. I ended up having to disassemble part of a nearby wall and load the rear end with cinder blocks to get it up the hill! I would never own a 2x4 SUV. What's the point? You burn a ton of gas and still can't go anywhere more then a civic.

Note: unless your building a full on bad @ss prerunner. Those are sweet!

Dude quit knockin' the 2wds... Would you rather have us lower em? I would never lower a truck and my 2wd ex gets through some steep mud hills and some rocky creeks on my ranch. It's not like I'm crawlin' over boulders, but 2wds can get through some **** if you know how to drive. And to further prove my point I pulled a 4x4 f150 out of the mud with my 2wd and that was before I got my 31" tires.

Pugh's truck is badass with or without 2wd. Saying our trucks are pointless just shows your ignorance.

sounds like a alright plan, im not a fan of body lifts though. Why do you want swampers? i really think super swampers would be a waste, and at $174 each! you can get some 33" baja claws for that price, and they look twice as cool

I'm not knocking on someone who owns a 2wd. I just would never own one myself, unless is was an econo car. If I'm going to be paying for all that gas I want to go where ever I want to and not be limited by my drive train. In my opinion 2wd suv's shouldn't be made. I had to pull (I didn't really pull, I stood behind him and pushed it) a brand new 2006 Navigator out of a grass lawn last summer bc it rained while he was parked there. He said, "Man, I just bought this thing less then a month ago, and I never thought I'd need 4x4. So I decided to save my self 2G's." I thought to myself, what! you just spent $45,000 on a brand new SUV and couldn't afford the extra $2,000 for 4x4?
