Okay, so I bought one of those white cluster faces off ebay. Didn't really pay all that much for it. Now I've noticed that my speedometer is sticking horribly. Does anyone know how to solve this problem. It's driving me crazy.

If you connect the OEM setup, will it revert back to a working speedometer? If so, maybe there is a problem with the new cluster, or some compatibility issue with your model year. I would suggest that you try this first, then email the seller about this problem.

I don't think that's it. It's not a whole new cluster, it's just the faces. I don't think that would have anything to do with the speedometer, just the faces that is. Would it?

If it's just a face plate, then check your connections on the cluster. Maybe it might not be making a good connection if it worked before you removed it. I assume you pulled out the cluster to add the face plate?

Does your new face plate look like this:

Is it possible that your speedometer needle is scratching against the face plate?
I think it is scratching against the face plate. I'm not sure...if I push on the plastic covering, it moves, but if I don't, it gets stuck

What exactly do you mean by "sticking" ? Do you mean when you accelerate that the needle does move properly. I put in a set of these gauges on my X and when I first put it in I pushed the speedo needle down too hard and it stuck so I pulled it out just a little and it moved properly. The next problem was you have to reset the needles properly or it will bounce. I finally got it set and got tired of it quickly and just bought a gauge cluster from the Jyard 2000/1 sport factory whiteface.
