Hay thanks i found all kinds of post on my trouble and think im on the rite track FPR i am going to get one on my way home thanks again:us:

quit buying parts

if the check engine light is on then the computer is storing a trouble code
this trouble code will TELL YOU what sensor is responsible for the fault code and many times why

Buying parts is a waste of time and $$$, the fuel pressure regulator on a 92 has NOTHING to do with the check engine light, unless of course the 02 sensors are picking up a lean or rich condition because of fuel pressure issues

pull the code

410fortune.... I think he indicated that the code was 173 and that it appeared AFTER he changed an O2 sensor. If it indeed is the code and is rich, his "guess" that maybe the FPR is not "functioning" correctly, then maybe its a good bet. The other thing that he might try is a fuel pressure test over a 10 minute period to see what pressure readings he is getting to help confirm his "guess".

Hello and good morning all. Just wish to say THANK YOU to everone that has posted on this site. I did reed alot of post and that headed me in the right derection. I bot a pressure tester and yep the FPR was bad. say 60psi at idle. sSo thanks again
