help oxidation

Hey guys\gals I have oxidation on the roof and the hood, I know it needs painting but I cant afford it ( buying house) and it looks terrible. Is there a way that I can reduce the looks of it?

You could try something called color back by turtle wax. I used it on my old pathfinder which was red, it helped but that paint was too far gone. It helped to make it look a little better but not much. I believe it has some abrasives in it, so if you try it make sure to read the directions. How well it works depends on how oxidized the paint is. If it works great, if not then it only cost you a few dollars.
