HELP! problem with HIDs

ok, i'm at work right now and just installed a set of HID on my 06 explorer. With the car off everything works fine, but as soon as i turn it out, the lights start flashing like strobes, anyone got any idea???

do you have daytime running lights? You cant use a normal kit with them, you must use a relay to turn them on.

no, during the day they are off, at night they come on.... but even if i just turn them on (not the auto) it still flashes at me... as soon as i turn the car off, it goes back to normal
 






it could have something to do with their initial current draw. Do your headlights have a auto reset breaker or a fuse?

there is a 20 amp fuse for each headlight

each balast draws 10 amps each, now even though the balasts only draw 10 amps, and there is a 20 amp fuse, i don't see how it can make a difference
