Okay, My 1994 has been out of commision while I upgraded the interior and did a solid axle swap. I checked with my local laws and the law states that the headlight must be no more than 54" from the ground. Now when I was doing the leaf suspension up front I measured and made sure the headlights were 54 from the bottom of the light to the ground. I went to get it inspected and it turns out the measure by the top of the lights which means I am 4"s over the legal limit.
I now have to add some DOT approved lighst in the bumper so that I can pass inspection.
Do any of you have any ideas? I thought about the old school headlighst. The ones where you replace the whole light instead of just the bulb like ours. These dont have a housing though so I need help mounting them. Any ideas?
