Help temperature..!

I had a similar problem with my 2010 Edge. The problem ended up being a rat had chewed up the wire going to the sensor. The gauge never moved but the radiator fans always ran. The ECU couldn't tell if the car was overheating so it automatically turned on the fans.

Check the wiring closely.
 






And as mentioned, the pcm connector, and, square connector center of firewall. Unbolt them, and take a look at the pins. Blow air on both sides.

Near it is a ground strap connection,green post bolt.

Look between gauge and sender for connectors in the wiring. Probe for voltage and ground there.
