OK well I have a 1997 Explorer 6cyl I'm having a lot of trouble here... OK well Ive had my transmission rebuilt so far and the drive shaft replaced one car started shaking driving really fast like vibrating. NOW! guess what my Transfer Case went out! It started jerking the car going down the road at like 35-40 and then it started popping then near the end of it i couldn't go over 20 mph and it was jerking and then it would sound like a very loud spinning somewhat grinding sound. At the local Midas they said it was the Jem Module that did this and that that and the Transfer Case needed to be replaced BOOM! 2700 down the drain. It has been 2 weeks and now all the symptoms are coming back that started happening like a long time ago that i neglected. I'm not too sure what to do now or what else could be the problem. I installed a radio that could be causing the problem but i installed it over 2 years ago and obviously all the replacements Ive done were in the last year or so. I'm gonna take the radio out along with other the other ipod hookups and stuff soon. but can somebody gimme some help here i can take pictures of whatever just need some suggestions!! Ty
