Hi! I need a little help please, I have a 200 Ford Explorer Limited and once the gas level gets below a half a tank, my car will not start. It will turn over and try to start but acts like it is flooded. As soon as I get it started, after holding the gas pedal down for about 5 mins, wide open, it will run. Once I fill up the gas tank I dont have any starting issues. However, lately, even on a full tank of gas occasionally it feels like there is a miss, like I have let off the gas pedal but then it picks right back up. Any suggestions or common issues? I took it to a garage and they stated they didnt think it was the fuel pump because of the level of gas having to be below half before the problem arises but now with the "miss" Im leaning more toward a fuel pump issue. It is the original fuel pump. Just changed the fuel filter last year. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
