I'll be throwing in an E303 cam later this year and possibly a s/c. I want to upgrade the injectors to prolly 24lbs, but not sure what size in-tank fuel pump to use.

Here's a list of what mods I'll be doing:

E303 cam
injectors - size?
in-tank fuel pump - size?
80mm MAS
Mustang throttlebody mod - 70mm?
EE s/c

Can someone help me out with this setup? I will not be racing the X, just want an improvement.

the stock throttle body on the 5.0 is a 65mm. if you go to the trouble to adapt one, atleast go with a 75mm. the E cam is good, but if your going with a S/C why not get a blower cam? you can get one roughly the same size as the E303 but designed for boost. if you're gonna replace the injectors, go with some 30's and ditch the FMU on the Eaton. cost is the same, you will only have to have a chip burned. you can use any Mustang style pump you want.

James- with a mustang pump, do I need to make any modifications for it to fit or is it pretty much bolt on? And also, I want to get the Baumann shift kit but not sure what tranny I have. Thanks!

Ted

You have the 4R70W tranny. Are you doing this cam swap yourself? I was thinking about maybe making a summer project out of it. As soon as I get everything else running as it should (of course).

from what i understand, it will be basically bolt in. you may have to modify the pickup, but i dont see that taking more than 5 minutes. ive got a Lightning pump, and it was just bolt in.
