Help with Hid in aux light

Can someone post a diagram of how to install an HID ballast with a relay and a switch that goes to the cabin. The light will be mounted on the roof; however, that is irrelevant. I think i understand it from the diagrams ive seen, but i just want to be sure. Thanks!!
