Second I want to lower it do your typical torsion twist what else do i need to do and third i want to get some cobra rims. is there any toher mods i should do and how should i go about doing this and how much will all this cost me? thanks,
Michael

Michael,

A body shop can spray your bumper
The rest of the stuff you talked about yuou just buy and bolt on.

What is your goal with this truck? better looks?
I would consider lowering it a bit to match the new rims too.

Other then that you can find all the answers to your questions by using the search feature on this forum.

Good luck!

Yeah defintly better looks everything right now it stock i might eventually add on some exhuast and other stuff but i figure the torsion twist and i guess adding blocks in the back would give me about 2 inches i think

I'm not sure that I would go with the Cobra rims on an off road truck. There are other 5 spokes out there that are more specific to off road trucks. With Cobras, you wheels are going to be set too far in, too close to the frame unless you plan on using wheel spacers.

The other issue is that 17" off road tires are really expensive (like 200+ per tire more than a 15 sometimes)and the side walls dont have good flex for traction. Kind of the same reason that drag racers still use 15s with bigger tires.

For the bumper; Does yours have the grey around the bottom? That is what mine has and I plan on getting grey herculiner on it. This will prevent scratches and rustproof at the same time. I am planning on going all the way around the truck (winter/salt are hell on vehicles here) on the grey parts. This is just an idea that you might want to consider.

Good luck.

jumpppp it!
