I just ordered a basic scanner so I can figure out why my check engine light is on...

I know where the connector is, but does anyone know what the button in front of it is for?

Thanks

That wasn't there originally from the factory.. It might be a aftermarket alarm shutoff (I see a black box to the right) or maybe or something else..

Yes, it's likely something for that alarm system you've got there. What a messy install...

yea..well.....it runs good..lol

Its up to 127,000miles...so far (knock on wood) in the 2 yrs ive had it, no major repairs, just a couple pullys, and a belt, brakes, tires..

now for this stupid P401 code error...lol

IIRC, p401 is an EGR flow code..
