Well last question before I build my false floor. I already have the two subs/amp coming. Since the box will be incorporated into the floor I would like to make the box ported to allow for bigger bass. However, I have ready several tutorials on how to build a box but I have yet to find a way to make a good port for a box and what SIZE the port should be. Heres a little draw up. Nothing much. But it works.

Btw, Height is a little adjustable, Depth is very adjustable. Remember, this is part of a false floor.

What size the port should be really varies by the sub, plus the size of the airspace it's in, at least for tuning for a particular frequency or range. Be sure the subs are made for ported use, too. Not all sealed/free-air subs do well in ported enclosures. Were there any suggested box types/sizes given in the manual? Usually theres at least one or two suggestions on the best configuration for the sub. If not, I'd suggest calling the manufacturer of the subs directly, usually they have a toll-free 800 number, and hopefully have a technical helpline for such particular questions. There might even be infomation on their website, too.

30-40 % of the cone area of the subs works well for daily port area

Thanks anime, and thanks even more wagon.
