Hey everybody... this is a repost, hoping for some previous experience with this. My '03 XLT is a normally very quick little devil, with the 3:73's and light mods (air/exhaust). On throttle tip-in, I can normally almost break the tires loose with a quick stab. HOWEVER, after being around town for awhile, in warm weather, it gets very, very sluggish, almost like it's in 2nd gear. Good gas, no ping, etc. But on a quick stab of the gas, it will take almost a second or second and a half to even bring the speedometer off the peg...

AAAAAAAGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
Sorry. But there has to be something causing this. Only 17K. COuld it be the tranny? It shifts smooth enough, although on hard decel you can hear and feel a pretty noticiable unlock / downshift.
Thanks!
