Hello all...I'm new to the forum and I really hope that someone out there can help me. I've always had a Ford and honestly the entire family has a ford...explorers of course lol...I recently purchased a awesome 2010 Ford Explorer Limited Edition...this truck is loaded with everything...the main reason I purchased the '10 and not newer is because I don't like the looks of the newer ones...they're not a SUV their a crossover imo...so I wanted the last make of the SUV models...I'm totally in LOVE with my truck and still learning all the neat features this truck has. The main thing I was looking for was SYNC...I have an Iphone and its just the best thing for me...I have it all synced/paired and I have no problem making calls or answering them...the one thing I can't figure out how to use or make it do this is to read my texts and answer them...I've looked in the manual and there's nothing there...gone to syncmyride.com and still couldn't find anything. Now I have the newest Iphone 4s and it has siri and the guy at the dealer even said it will read my texts etc but I just can't figure this out. Does anyone know how I can get this to work for me? I'd appreciate any help anyone has to offer. Thanks you

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new ride!
In order to have your texts read via SYNC, you'll have to push the HOME button on your phone and tell Siri to read it. Currently, the iPhone doesn't support Bluetooth texting. Apple is working on it though!
