would the 16x8's fit? i don't understand the bolt pattern setup? what does it mean?
12=5x4.5 ???
34=5x4.75 ???

i think i would rather 16's cuz then i could keep some meatier tires on there. what would be the biggest tires that would fit with the 16x8 bullets without rubbing? 265/75/16 maybe?

thanks.

maybe, i emailed the owners to see what it meant before i go ordering anything. i think that those are fairly good prices. does the backspacing and stuff look right for the explorer? i don't want spacers or have rubbing because the rim is too wide or something. and thanks james for the help.

Backspacing looks good to me. You should have no rubbing issues.

great, thanks a lot james.

Yes they will fit fine too. They have 5mm more offset, which means they'll stick out 5mm more. 5mm is less than 1/4 of an inch... not enought to even notice.

what would be the biggest tire i could fit on those 17's without rubbing. i am not going for a street, lowered look. i want these rims forall season use with all season tires. i have 31'' pirelli scorpion at's on my stock 15'' rims now and they fit fine, no rubbing. i would like a 17'' tire that would fit on the bullits and fill the wheel wel gap like my 31's do now. thanks for any help.

A 275/60/17 is about the same height as a typical 31x10.50. Maybe 1/4" or so shorter.
