Hey all, I am buying a new set of 17x9 Cobra r's. I am looking for tires now. I need help with my diameter. What should I go with. I dont want anything too small, so I am going with 55s probably. I just need to know a the right diameter, and if someone can tell me the formula for converting it. Am I right to say 275/55/17s? That seems right I think, but I dont know the actual equation. If this comes as a factor, I am a 95% street driver, and I want something thats going to be good in wet conditions. Any suggestions? Thanks everyone
Jason

The easiest thing to do is to go to a tire place and get a chart that compares the diameter, width, revolutions per mile and load ratings. Goodyear used to have that in their brochures for the different models of tire, I'm not sure if they still do or not but it is worth a look.
