I was on here before with my noise issue and it sounded like tire noise. Also the thumping in the steering wheel area was found to be play in the tie rods (luckily covered under warranty cuz I just had them done).
Anyways, finally took to the Ford Dealership and they diagnosed the rear differential probably needs a complete overhaul (ring gear, pinion and clutch packs) and the front needs some work as well though not as bad as the rear. Can you tell me what the costs I might be looking at. Ford Dealership said around 2,000 a piece. Needless to say Ford won't be doing the work for me. Also if there is anyone in the Nashville, TN area that knows how to do this work and isn't madly expensive, I would appreciate it
