My 2002 Explorer Eddie Bauer dashboard lights suddenly stopped working when light switch is in the autolamp position but works fine when it is turned to manually on position. Exterior lights and headlights working fine when switch is in autolamp position just no dashboard lights. The truck has the Ford auto starter system which was installed by the dealer. When you start the car with the remote the dashboard lights are on like normal when you put in the key and step on the brake dashboard light goes off even though headlights are on and truck is running. I have also discov3that the interior lights no longer work when I open any of the doors or trunk. The interior lights do work if I use the remote to unlock the doors or to when I remotely start the truck. Any one experience this problem and have a solution.
