Helper Spring or ADD-A-LEAF

I need your imput everyone. About a year ago i ordered new rear leafs from a local store and they kept screwing up the order and it took about a month to get them. i took my air-ride out the other day and put in gas shocks and the rear needs some help. i have a feeling the leaf pack they gave me was wrong or to soft. i dont want to just do shackles because i tow a lot and im pretty sure the leaf pack is to soft. do you recondmend i get a helper spring kit or an add-a-leaf kit. what have been your experiences with the two. thanks for the help!

Why did you take off the air ride? Was it the factory version? I have had good luck with the aftermarket air lift air bags on heavier trucks.

i was having a lot of problems with the stock air-ride and it was always expensive to fix it so for a hundred dollars i now have a good working simple suspension.

i would go with the AAL, be warned though it will make the rear STIFF. but i like that, you might too. hope this helps.

what springs did you end up putting it between?

mine are in this order.. overload leaf, leaf, AAL, leaf, main leaf
