hesitation issues?

Hi everyone I'm a first timer on here so bear with me. My 2006 Eddie Bauer V8 explorer with about 80000 on it is starting to hesitate while cruising along under normal driving conditions. Any ideas on what that could be?

This is a transmission, axle, etc. forum, however you need to be a little more specific about your problem. Hesitates when you do what? Is it the engine or a shift hesitation?
