Hesitation on acceleration

Hi, occasionally when I accelerate from a slow speed the car gives a momentary hesitation a couple of times-almost like as if one of the cylinders doesn't fire for a couple of seconds (just not as bad).
Any ideas?

i also sometimes have this problem, some days my x could be running like new but other days i can definitely tell its slackin a little

Have the plugs and wires ever been changed? I had this exact problem with one of my vehicles--it finally went away after changing the plugs and wires.

yea as soon as i realized this i went ahead and changed my plugs and wires but it seemed like not too long after that the problem continued
