99 5.0 awd
Ok well my names Eric. I have a 1999 explorer limited 5.0 awd. Anyways i love my truck it treated me well for 3 years now. Other then my dual flowmaster exhaust, 31x10.5r15 bfg m/t, 15x10" m/t locks, and a cone intake its stock. But Now i want to upgrade some more, well alot more, with a 4" superlift suspension lift, 1.5-2" torsion twist, Spring over axle, beefier sway bars, a body lift, 4.10.1 gear ratio and 35" xterrians. I already have the tires. I searched most of this stuff soo i know what i want. But I drive my explorer atleast 500 miles a week, and i take my 600 mile fishin road trips to my fishin spots monthly. So this baby needs to perform on road like stock, or close to it. I need to be able to run 80-90mph down the highway, and still get my 14mph city/ 19hwy

my question is does this sound like a good idea for something i drive some offen? i just want to know if that sounds like its doable

thanks

:wavey: Welcome Eric. Sounds like you have good plans, but...
and still get my 14mph city/ 19hwy
Sorry, but that's not going to happen. You need to be ready for at least a little drop in gas mileage after any of those changes. With all of them (6" lift, 35's and 4.10 gears), the drop in gas mileage will be rather substantial.

Hope you can live with that, because 6" lift and 35's on a 2nd Gen Explorer comes out really nice.

hopefully those x-terrains dont wear too fast, but from what i remember u should be able to get 40k out of em?

With a 35" tire you are going to want at least 4.30 gears if not 4.56 gears.

You would also benifit greatly by doing a BW4406 t-case swap.
