It seems that I've been hearing this? I have a V8 explorer 98. I have installed a hi flow air filter, and exhaust. Could this be causing a O2 problem. I keep getting a code 133. (premptive)Yes Its been changed twice.

very very doubtful.
The mods aren't excessive enough to require a different ECM program... the ECM *should* be able to compensate.
I assume the computer has been reset since the CEL came on/O2s have been replaced, correct?

I too doubt that your mods caused this problem.

Good luck in resolving.

I just did those two mods to my V8, back to back. First the intake then the exhaust. The only negative is that my foot is heavier and I'm enjoying the improvement in performance. My flasher is back on Wednesday and it will be that much better.

Like the others said, sounds like you've got other issues with your 5.0.

Hi,
Thankyou all for your input. Atleast I wont be hunting a ghost. I'll dig into this problem deeper now.
Thanks
Keith
