Hi all, my name is Don and I've been checking out the forum lately because I'm definitely thinking of buying a 2016 Explorer when they become available. I've had Fords in the past including a 2005 Mustang GT which unfortunately I sold to a friend of mine a few years ago. I do miss it and now I get to see it in his garage . I currently drive a 2014 Jeep Cherokee that I will be trading in on the Explorer. I need a larger SUV and one that is reliable and I believe the new Explorer will fit that need. I'm an older guy (68) so don't be too tough on me if I ask too many questions about the Explorer. I also had an 02 GMC Yukon that I traded in on the Cherokee. That was a mistake. So now I'm looking to correct that and get into the 2016 Explorer. I'm looking forward to having a good time here and learning a lot about my future vehicle. Don..

Welcome. Its a great forum for the explorers. I have a 2008 Grand Cherokee Overland that I am getting rid of currently as well.

Yes that's exactly where we will be going. One of the salesmen will be calling me when he gets a couple of 2016 models in to look at and drive. Sanderson always does good things for veterans, kids and charities. We have not bought a vehicle from them in the past but have always brought stuff to them for their toy drives at Christmas. They are also a very large dealership and I've heard that they are very honest and fair when it comes to pricing.
