Im looking into getting a hi-lift jack for my truck,
does anyone know if there are any points on the truck to use it,
I am getting my 2nd winch bumper made this week, and it will have points on either side, but what about the rest of the truck?

I'd say the best bet would be getting a Life-Mate for it so you can jack up the via the wheels. Unless you have welded rock sliders/rails on, I'm pretty sure you will have no spot to jack from besides your bumper.

Here's a link. You can get it pretty cheap off Quadratec, but check Amazon too.

Look's good, that lift mate mate :D Definitely a must have when using a high lift on a 3rd gen by the look's of it. How much extra strain/stress would that put on the suspension or drive line do you reckon?

No more stress than you would get than when you get your truck in a spot where a lot of the vehicle weight is on one corner.

I'd be more worried about the stress on the wheel itself...looks like it mounts by running hooks through the holes in the wheel. Wouldn't be a problem with steelies though.

Two good point's mate, I'll have to do some checking on whether it can be used on alloy's. The majority opinion from what I've found say it's ok to lift an alloy, but that won't help if you need to change a flat (unless you carry a jack stand too). Another option may be an airbag jack (attach to the exhaust to inflate) that way you can jack her to pack under the wheel's and to fit a spare in case of a flat.

Yes Sir! Do you still have my info for a paypal invoice?

No worries mate, Done!
