$50 seems to be the price for most places. I would personally get the red one because it is stronger and it only costs a little bit more.

yeah i'll get it painted black to match the rack and coat it so it won't rust. i have a neighbor that'll do it for me. great idea.

Hey that is a good idea. I think I will look into doing that too with mine.

i'll be doing it w/ mine! COPIER!!!!!!! Glad to help you

Yell at me later Chris.... but I've used mine several times with no problems. :P HEHEHE

Check out either your local farm store or www.harborfreight.com Both sell the same stuff only under a different name for around $30.00 I paid about 25 for mine when Farm and Fleight went out of business. They hold the same weight, and I kinda like how my new one is compared to the Hi-Lift. If you order from Harbor Freight spend a few more bucks to top $50 and you get free shipping. They are often heavy so shipping can add to the price big time.

PS.... if you cant' find it on harbor freight's web site let me know. I know they sell it and have about 10 of their mags lieing around, so I can get all the info for ya.

as you siad i can't find it at the site! booo can i get the order # to look at this?

Can you send me that link? please

at the farm and fleet store in my town they are 40 bucks:D

so there not "Hi-Lift" but a similar brand?

FWIW - The off brands I've seen are of a lesser quality. The Hi-Lifts are also available in 2 lengths (48" and 60") and in 2 styles (forged and cast, I believe). The 60" forged Hi-lift is the one you want, although it is more expensive (usually around $60-$70).

no i want the 48" i just need ti to get my Jeep friend out ya know. and to change a tire and the 60 won't fit on my rack and if it did it would look tacky..

Or you could try a Jack-All. Same thing, different name.

they look weak to me. i'll just spend the extra money and get a Hi-Lift and paint it black and put some clear coats on there for protection.

The 60" is better jack to use because if you disconnect your sway bars, you will be almost to the top of the jack if not at the top when jacking up over rocks. The Explorer has alot of droop with the swaybars dissconnected. There is a way to get over this. Take a chain and wrap it around the axle and hook it to the frame, then you can jack up the truck and the wheels and not have to worry about the droop.

i just want the 48" the sway bars are staying on.
