Hi, new guy with a lot of questions!

I have a 96 Ranger supercab 4x4, 4.0 OHV that I'm currently in the middle of swapping a 2003 4.0 SOHC into. I have everything you can think of for doing the swap and getting correct parts isn't a problem. I'm wondering if anyone here has done a swap like this before on a 96 and could tell me what I'm getting into? I plan on swapping the entire wiring, fuel and ABS system over. I have already started a thread on the Ranger Forums but nobody there has ever done anything like this before and I'm not getting to much input.

not the same Gen. I read the thread before. I plan on doing it right and using all the correct wiring and ECM. I want my truck to think it's an 03 and pass tuff NJ inspection. So any check engine light is uneceptable. The onlt thing me and Brett's swap have in common is the TTB.

Anyone have any idea if a SOHC 4.0L will work with a 3rd gen Ranger TTB?
