I am new to this site been with sporttrac.com for the last 5 years but I am looking for a answer and no one there has any ideas...
Here goes I installed HID headlights about a week ago and had to disaple my daytime running light fuse if not they would flicker during the day. I ended up not liking that i did not have any headlights during the day not to mentain that it is not legal in canada....
The latest fix i found was the easiest i placed a peice of electrical tape over the sensore on the rear view mirrior so the truck thinks it is night all the time... the only downfall is that all my gauges are dimmed all the time making it hard to see during the day like the radio and compass... I am looking for an easy fix like cuttung the dimmer wire or something to disaple the dimmer feature.. if anyone has any ideas they would be great....
