Hello, I have a 2003 Explorer Eddie Bauer. I just bought a set of aftermarket hid they are suppose to be plug and play. I connected them today and they didn't turn on, not even a blink. what is it that i need to do for them to work? Can someone please help me.

HID problems

Make sure you check the plug and wiring for proper polarity on the balasts... 90% of the time they come wired wrong at the plug, and a simple swaping of the wires in the plug fixes it/them.

look at the pins/connectors in the plug on the ballast, there should be a small tab that holds each wire/connector in place in the plastic, if you gently push it in with a precision screwedriver or something similar, you should be able to remove each wire from the plug one by one and place them in the correct position. just make sure not to break off the little tabs, and don't forget to bend them back out if need be before reinstalling them, or they may pop out.
