Its time to replace the radiator in my 2006 4.6 v8. I can't seem to find any direct fit custom aluminum radiator options. Any venders stocking these items? If not I'll just go with OE.

I've been looking too. Most likely its a custom job.

Best as far as I am concerned is a Silla 2559A with a limited lifetime warrantee on it. Because of the integrated tranny cooler we are not going to find a complete aluminum radiator out there. Being that Silla is located in CA, you should be able to get your hands on one pretty easy.

That Silla is only a 1 row. I believe OE is 2 row.

Didn't catch that, but they are known for high quality radiators... If you want 2 rows then try this one: Spectra Premium CU2816 - it has a 2 year warrantee.

I went ahead and purchased the expensive OE rad, it has been updated over the years. The biggest difference is the original 06 OE rad had 2 cores. The updated OE rad has a thicker one core but is 1/2 inch thiner than in 2006. Kind of a bummer but maybe they figured out a way to make it cool better some how.

I would like to add upon the Silla rad, it shows the Silla core is .25in thicker than the New style OE rad. It looks like a great alternative to the OE.
