Well fancy that, Your tyre survived!

It doesn't look too bad under there. You do not really have any real rust either, that should make it a bit easier to work on. From the looks of one of those photos the bonnet damage may just buff out.

I am curious as to what has to be done to an airbag system after deployment. Does it have to be "reset" in some way? or can you just install new bags and its good to go?

it doesnt look as bad as it does in the first photo. I think i would fix it. Personally i would get alot of the bulky doesnt need to be shiny parts from the junk yard much cheaper. i also have alot of those parts that broke lying around. I would sell them to you for cheap mainly shipping. Also if u ever want to get rid of that coilover conversion im interested. :)

i pmed you rkalb

and sedition, haha thats the first thing i said to my gf, well holy **** look at that the BFG's once again came through, even when the rim took alot of damage, i love those tires, ive had prolly 10 sets over the years, for an all around tire they cant be beat, mabey they arent as good in mud as some toyo mt's or as grippy in the rocks as general grabbers, but for a street truck that sees mild offroad trail use they are awesome!

It doesn't look that bad, actually. I'd still wait to see if everything is straight after getting the arms off though...

For the air bag situation, It is a poor idea to just replace the airbags. you need to replace the sensor that set off the airbags, if it is damaged you could run the risk of them going off at anytime, even if you go over a bump too hard.

One of my friends dad just replaced the airbags in his escort, and he was behind a 18 wheeler, a rock or something hit in just the right spot where the damages sensor was, and boom, airbags went off.
