I am planning on making my own cold air intake next week. I noticed that the ABS stuff is pretty popular to use for the tubing. But I have a few questions. Where can I buy that ABS stuff? I live in a town of about 200,000 so we have all kinds of stores, so I just need to know where I can find it. Another thing is, what filters do you guys prefer, I had a K&N before, but it was way too oily, so I'm gonna try something else. Thanks for any help you can provide.

oh, I heard someone say that got it at a Home Depot Nascar store or something, and we definately dont have one of those here, so I didnt know if I had to find somewhere like that to get it at. Thanks.

If you think K&N are "too oily", get yourself on of those recharger kits and do it yourself. Get rid of the existing oil using the cleaning solution. Let filter dry completely, reapply oil sparingly and stuff a few sheets of newspaper in the filter to catch the excess. Let it sit for a while and you're good to go.

I have an AFE filter than came with my Volant intake and it works fine. I think all those cotton filter pretty much work the same except maybe the el cheapo eBay ones.
