Homelink not working

I can't seem to get my homelink to function correctly it seems to be programming correctly but it doesn't seem to working any ideas people have them programmed nowadays. I just seem this being a cool option.

is it all self contained sustem? the new homelinks at least are all self contained antenna everything have ya checked the antenna?

Dad's 6th gen ranger programed up just fine both remotes work how do you check the antenna on the homelink

Seems to be it stores blinks a whole bunch of times then when I stop pushing the transponder and homelink buttons nothing I've been following the instructions in booklet
