I like them:D Go for it:p

Wow, I see a project in my future! I've been looking on doing a hood mod and this seems like a good one. I'd probably install the vents in the middle, facing rearward, on the rear half of the hood to vent from the s/c. Looks great!

so you are going to make more of a intake rather than a cowl? i dont understand how you are going to set it up. explaination would help.

No, the openings facing the rear like those. I've been worried about anything forward facing due to rain and water crossing concerns.

But I'd put mine towards the cowl in the middle of the hood instead of on the sides.

oh i see. i just like the look of them on the sides sort of like the 5.9 Limited JGC. i am going to put mine right past the bends in the hood like in the second link. hopefully it will be a near future mod.

Those are pretty sweet, let us know if you end up doing it, and make sure to post pictures...

definitely

If I do this, I'll do it mid-june while I'm staying in CA for the summer. I'll be sure to tell y'all how it goes.

do you know who to contact for the louvers? his email is in the first link. and alec if you do this project before me i will pissed off. just kidding. i just need to get some money to get the louvers so i can get started. talk to you guys later.

I like them!
Alex, you read my mind, Ive been looking for something like this for a while to get the heat out from under the hood. My only concern is water (rain) dripping onto/into the wrong areas around the engine or electrical connections. Maybe you could install a drip-pan under the louver to divert dripping water.:redexp:

cutting the holes in the hood would scare me man, but good luck

I'd like to see some installed on an Ex, but I do like them. I gets me to thinking about some other louvers I saw online. Looks like an easy weekend project. I would like to figure out some way to close it off just in case for water forging. Maybe create some kind of rubber cover that could be installed on the underside of hood easily for those trips where you know you might need em.

i have emailed the guy and we can do a group buy of some kind if we want to. he didn't give any specifics and there aren't any yet (so i dont think i'm breaking the rules, but i'm not sure on that sorry if i am). is anyone interested though? i know i am
