Hood swap question

So I'm replacing the hood on my 2000 Eddie Bauer. I have a used one from either a Sport or EXT (I think is what it's called) and was wondering if it would fit? I already paid for it like a year ago which may have not been the best idea but oh well..I'm going to measure it tomorrow but was hoping to know own what I'm getting into lol. Thanks

It should fit fine. If it was from a 2 door sport. I am not sure if you are talking sport trac. most all of the body panel's on the 2nd gen are swapable.

as long as its from a 98 an up. 97 and down had a different hood latch mech and the way it latched
