My girlfriend and I just bought a 2001 Explorer Sport last week. Its 2-tone, dark blue and grey, white face gauges, silver accents on dash and doors, pioneer system with in dash 6 disc changer. Its really exciting for us bcuz this is the closest thing we have ever had to a new car. Neither one of us has great credit, so we were lucky to get it.

Its our second Explorer, cuz i won't sell my 1991 I love the new one, but the 91 is still my baby.

It was $16k before ttl, but we got an ext warranty, gap insurance, roadside asst, all the good stuff.

I doubt there will be any mods to the 2001, it is just a daily driver, we carpool to work, so we just wanted a nice car for most of our driving. Any mods will go to the 1991, it currently has 2002 Ranger Edge wheels w/ goodyear A/T tires, and a good system. I love both of our explorers, but my true love is my mustang.

I have 2 cars to sell before i can do anything, and acura with a blown engine, and a neon with the same. So nothing for a while
