Hos does this setup look?

I just installed a Kenwood KDC-MP8017 MP3 Player, and I want to add a little more BASS. I was thinking about this setup:

Sub- Audiobahn ABP121 SINGLE 12" TUNED BANDPASS SYSTEM 400W RMS

Amp- Audiobahn A1801X
1-CHANNEL CLASS A/B MOSFET POWER AMPLIFIER

Would this sound good in my '01 Sport? I am not looking for a SPL machine here, I just want to add a little more bass.

You said a little more bass...with a 400W 12" bandpass sub you are going to be heard coming down the street quite easily. I would definitely say that it is going to give you "a little more bass." I have a 250W 8" sub and it fit me quite well when I wanted a little more bass.

When you get that bass...make sure you invest in some good mids and highs or else it will drown out the rest of your music. I think your system looks great though, and good luck with the install if you are doing it yourself.

the only down side is that's a bandpass setup. the sq really sucks due to the narrow frequency range of a bandpass. no deep bass and no upper sub bass frequencies. you would be better off with a regular sealed or vented enclosure.
